WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki (pronounced ray-kee) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation. A gentle, hands-on therapy that promotes healing by improving the flow of energy throughout the body. This practice encourages the utilization of the body's natural healing abilities.
What is a Reiki Session Like?
A session usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. Clients lay on a massage table while the Reiki practitioner places their hands at locations around the head, shoulders, abdomen, legs and feet. The hands lightly touch the body to promote calmness and relaxation.
